Hello parents and families!
The students had a great time learning this past week!
They learned about the art and life of artist Pablo Picasso. We are
working on creating art in his image, and learning about his Blue and Rose Periods of art.
Students also really enjoyed working on creating functional lists this week, and we
will now move on to creating and understanding the purpose of letters this upcoming week.
This week we will learn the letters Uu, Ee, Jj, and Yy. We will also learn the new sight words 'but,' 'at' and 'had.'
In math we are practicing 1:1
correspondence with items as we count; touching each item and moving it
forward so we count correctly.We also will be practicing how to count backwards and how to compare numbers this week!
