Last week and This week!

Hello Parents and Families!

Welcome back from our three day weekend! I hope Labor Day was relaxing and enjoyable for everyone. This last week we learned more about our bodies by doing some body tracings and adding our brain, skin, digestive, skeletal, and respiratory systems! Please check them out in our Kindergarten hallway on the walls. We also had a great time learning how shapes can compose real life objects and things during math. Check out some samples below!

This week we will be learning about different artists, like Henri Matisse and Diego Rivera, and creating some art in their image! We will continue learning new letters from  our alphabet, and some new sight words!

Extended Day activities also start today, so be sure to sign your child up for something soon! I will be teaching a story hour that includes a story and art/craft to accompany it on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I would love to have more of our Kinders join!

I will also be sending home a progress report for your child in their folders by Thursday, so be sure to check it and see what they could be working on more at home with you, as well as what your student's strength is! :)

Best,

Miss Crowl
